몸전체가 푸른 빛을 띄는 개체로 합플로그코미네스 계열의 말라위 개체입니다. 어렸을때는 몸에 푸른띠가 생기지만 성장함에 따라서 띠가 없어지면서 전체적으로 푸른 빛을 띄는 페노칠러스로 변신을 하게 됩니다. 아래에서 보는 것처럼 사육난이도는 아주 쉬운 개체입니다. 현재 3.5-4cm 입니다.

Males of this species are noted for their white lips and deep-blue (sometimes almost violet) body. They lack the white spots that adorn males of Placidochromis sp. "Phenochilus Tanzania". Females are a uniform gray to brown in contrast to the the vertical bars found on females of the more popular Placidochromis sp. "Phenochilus Tanzania". |
